HALL OF FAME
The Platinum Hall of Fame is home to authors and titles that have achieved outstanding sales within the UK. Titles that sell over one million copies, and authors who have surpassed this benchmark across their entire catalogue, are accredited in the Hall of Fame.
This gallery is a monument to these titans of literary output – a celebration of the author, the book and of the wider cultural impact that sales of this magnitude signify. This glittering collection contains a diverse range of titles, from classic to contemporary, across multiple genres, across a huge range of literary styles, reflecting the diverse literary tastes of UK consumers.
As of January 2026, over 147 titles have been inducted into the Hall of Fame. To be in the Hall of Fame is to stand along the likes of Harper Lee, Margaret Atwood, Hilary Mantel and Phillip Pullman.
Honorary Members
The Honorary Platinum Award was introduced in 2017 to celebrate authors that had achieved sales of 5,000,000 across all formats. As with the other Platinum Status winners, all Honorary Platinum Award winners are entered into the Bestseller Award Hall of Fame.
